Attachments for tractors
I quickly found sprayers in one collective farm and immediately set to work.
I will immediately give a list of the necessary materials and parts that were required in the manufacture of the sprayer. This is a metal barrel with a capacity of 200 liters; steel corners with sections 90 × 58 and 50 × 50 mm; steel pipes of round section (diameter 32 mm), as well as square and rectangular sections (respectively 50 × 50 and 50 × 25 mm); hard PVC pipe (diameter 32 mm) and soft PVC hose (diameter 16 mm); electric pump for operating voltage 12 V; lead screw Tg 14×3 LH 400 mm long.
From the equipment needed a welding machine, an electric drill and the usual set of hand tools.
It was also necessary to machine two adapters on a lathe for connecting the pump with a hose and a hose with a hinged rod, a plug on the rod and a fitting.
Rotary mower for minitractor
Before starting work, it is important to take care of materials and tools in advance.
It is acceptable to use everything that is at hand, because problems should not appear. Suitable:
- any kind of metal barrels;
- spare parts from equipment that has failed;
- old frames.
To assemble this part, a minimum knowledge of technology, skills in handling welding machines will suffice.
Any type of rotary mower contains blades mounted on discs with a sheath for added protection. The movement of the mechanism begins due to the shaft, which takes power.
The order of work will be as follows:
- 40 cm metal corners are used in the development of frames. When connecting, the use of conventional welding machines is permissible. Cutting elements can be assembled on the basis of knives from old tractor mowers. But without at least a 30mm cutoff, the technique will lack traction.
- Two circles of 390 mm diameter are cut from metal in the form of sheets having a total thickness of up to 4 mm.
- Knives are mounted on circles. It is important that their rotation remains free after the work is completed. The vegetation is then cut off only due to the action of centrifugal forces. The lower discs of 450 mm in diameter are taken from old cultivators. Usually this is the bottom.
- Special shafts - a place for attaching disks with knives. The element can be supported on a metal pipe with a diameter of 30 cm. You can't do without additional bearings. One is mounted on a pipe, the second is connected to a welded pulley.
- Disks with knives are mounted on the axial shaft. After that, the pulleys and the pipe are welded together. Homemade mower is almost ready.
- From above, at the final stage, a protective casing is mounted. 1150 mm - working width for rotary mowers.
The lower discs can be mounted directly on the frame, which simplifies the design.

Tractor sprayer drawings
The sprayer is very simple in design. It consists of a powerful frame, which is attached with four bolts to a self-made front hitch of the MTZ-80 tractor; swivel frame, pressure bar with four nozzles and solution tank.
In the tank, 50 mm from the bottom, a pump from an NC-300 12 V electric car washer is suspended. The pump performance is enough to operate the sprayer.
The sprayer is turned on from the tractor cab with a conventional toggle switch, which directly closes the positive wire of the electric cable going to the pump. The solution from the pump through the hose goes to the pressure rod and through the sprayer gets to the surface to be treated.
The pressure bar with sprayers is attached to the hinged frame, therefore, it is movable in relation to the sprayer frame, that is, its height can be changed. To do this, there is a lifting mechanism that allows you to adjust the distance from the boom to the ground depending on the height of the plants, the depth of the furrows in the soil, the direction and strength of the wind.
Now I will dwell in more detail on the design features of the sprayer and the manufacture of each of its components. The frame is welded from sections of steel profiles of various sections: corners 90 × 56 and 50 × 50 mm, square and rectangular pipes 50 × 50 and 50 × 25 mm, strips 50 × 10 mm, as well as scarves 8 mm thick.
Four holes with a diameter of 12.5 mm were drilled in the frame brackets for the M12 bolts for attaching the sprayer to the home-made front hitch of the tractor. The holes in the frame cradles are designed for four bolts of the same size that secure the solution tank.
The lifting mechanism consists of a lead screw with a left trapezoidal thread Tg 14 × 3 LH (you can also use a screw from a Zhiguli jack), a handle and two arms of the lifting bar. The bar is welded from a thrust sleeve, two arms - pipe sections 32 × 3 mm and two brackets - angle sections 50 × 50 mm.
Structurally, the sprayer frame is inextricably linked with the lifting mechanism, since before its assembly, the lead screw was first screwed into the nut embedded in the end hole of the frame boom, and only then the first thrust washer was welded onto the end of the screw, then the two-arm lifting bar was put on and the second thrust washer was welded on.
The hinged frame is also assembled using electric welding from pipe sections with a diameter of 32 and 25 mm, ears and scarves made of sheet steel with a thickness of 8 and 3 mm, respectively. The frame is attached to the sprayer frame, of course, pivotally with two M12 bolts.
By turning the screw with the handle, you can increase or decrease the height of the pressure rod relative to the ground. The pressure rod is a plastic pipe with a diameter of 32 mm, which is attracted to the traverse of the hinged frame with three clamps. The left (along the tractor) end of the rod is closed with a duralumin plug, and the right end is connected to the supply hose through an adapter. Clamps at the ends of the rod serve to seal the joints and prevent the solution from seeping out.
At the bottom of the bar, at a distance of 700 mm from each other, four holes with a diameter of 13 mm were drilled for the sprayer bodies. The housings, together with sprayers, were taken from an industrial sprayer of the OPSh-1.5 brand.
The last unit of the design - the tank - is made from a 200-liter barrel with thick walls. Thick walls are needed because electric welding was used in the manufacture of the tank.
At the top of the barrel there is a hatch, and at the bottom there are two plate supports for installation on the sprayer frame. Through the hatch, a pump was introduced into the tank and suspended there on a thin cable (from the motorcycle clutch) to a specially welded bracket.
The hatch is closed with a lid, in which a hole is cut for the outlet of the supply hose and the electric cable of the pump. The cover is pressed with four M8 bolts to the flange welded to the top of the hatch.
It took me only a few days to make the sprayer. Then, tests. I filled it with water and turned on the pump. The first thing I saw from the tractor cab was how the rainbow sparkled with all its colors on the thinnest film of the fan spray. He flipped the switch and the rainbow went out. The body of the diluter is designed in such a way that when the pressure of the liquid stops, special cuffs block the access of the liquid to the sprayers under the action of the compression force of the springs. So outside the working process, not a drop of solution falls on the ground.
The sprayer captures four rows of potatoes with a row spacing of 70 cm. I hang it, as I already mentioned, on a homemade tractor front hitch. Behind the tractor I aggregate with a cultivator-hiller. Thus, it is possible to simultaneously perform two operations - spraying and inter-row processing. This is convenient: time and fuel are saved, and the soil is less compacted by wheels. Two operations in one pass is already an advanced word in agricultural technology. Where much attention is paid to agricultural production, you will not surprise anyone with this. This is still new for us.
By the way, the sprayer can be used not only in the fight against the Colorado potato beetle. Potato growers know how important mineral fertilizers are for the development of root crops. One of the strongest effects in growing potatoes is given by foliar feeding of plants, when, during the period of tuber formation, a saturated aqueous solution of mineral fertilizers is sprayed on potato leaves in small doses.
Harrows and rakes
15-65 thousand rubles - the average price of this type of equipment from manufacturers. Therefore, it is easier to take care of the independent manufacture of devices. Then the money will not have to pay so much. And the result of the work will be no worse than that of professional tools.
Before processing with a plow, the land requires careful preparation. A disc harrow is the best choice for this job. The product must weigh between 190-700 kilograms. Capture size - 1-3 meters. Modern models allow the installation of several disks at the same time. Up to 20 centimeters reaches the maximum depth of tillage.
There are the following types of harrows:
- Tooth.
- Disk.
- Rotor powered.
Features and manufacture
Those that work from the rotor remove soil from the surface in layers. In this case, cuts are made with a thickness of 3 to 9 cm. This indicator can be selected according to the current needs of the owner. When designing a harrow, the area of the allotment for processing is subject to accounting. 750-1400 mm - strip width allowed for this tool.
If the blade is designed correctly, then the angle will be sharp. Thanks to this, it is easy to penetrate into the ground with maximum momentum. The earth is dissected, the destruction of weeds is simplified.
In the case of dry soils, it is more relevant to use a disc harrow. The disk part in the form of an asterisk is responsible for loosening the soil. Up to 5-7 pieces of such disks can be mounted on one shaft. Everything is determined by the power characteristic of the disk.
Disc harrow device:
When it is required to create a uniform weeded soil, a harrow with teeth is preferred. This tool is supplied with protruding parts with different configurations.
Most often chosen:
- squares;
- knives;
- teeth.
20-40 millimeters is the standard size for such equipment. Hinges or spring struts provide traction to the chassis.
A tooth harrow is the simplest design option. The tool looks like a grate with several teeth. As a hook, you can use a bar with several holes. They are placed in the trailer tube. In this case, the rod requires additional fixation.
A variant of a tooth harrow for a minitractor in the drawing:
From blocks or fittings, the grate itself is cooked. It is permissible to use pipes having a perpendicular section. The main thing is that the wall thickness remains within 3.5 mm. The teeth have an angle of inclination of approximately 47 degrees. It is important that the unit itself fits into a turn of any radius.
What to consider:
- The height of the teeth themselves is 22 cm.
- For the manufacture, the same steel is used as in the case of fittings.
- Additional hardening, turning for teeth will not be superfluous.
- The gap between the parts is 10.6 cm.
The layout of the teeth and the traction shaft must be paired with each other, otherwise a home-made attachment and hitch to the tractor will not give the desired result.
How to make a homemade plow and other equipment for the T-25 tractor
A plow is an integral tool in agriculture, which is used for plowing the soil due to metal blades and shares. Often the purchase of a unit for tractors of the old model is useless due to the impossibility of interaction between hydraulic attachment systems and attachment attachments. A homemade plow on the T-25 is not complicated in terms of the structure of the hull. Each farmer can make such a unit on his own.
How to make simple hangings?
Three-point suspension is the most popular attachment for attachments. It can be either back or front. This unit is distinguished by its versatility - only a broken frame or a caterpillar tractor has attachment points of a different configuration.
Three-point suspension consists of a "triangle", which is made of steel using welding. The main screw provides dynamic attachment to the unit. Making a hand-operated hitch (with a mechanical lift) is not particularly difficult.
This design works through the "triangle" - thanks to it, the connection between the vehicle and attachments is realized.
The connection takes place within two minutes: the tractor approaches the unit in reverse, the “triangle” is brought under the mounting groove using a hydraulic device. The suspension rises and latches.
How to make attachments for a mini-tractor with your own hands, see the following video.
An important component of agriculture is the cultivation of land. This includes not only regular loosening and weeding, but also watering, as well as fertilizing the land. After all, absolutely all cultures need plowed and well-groomed land. With such difficult tasks, a mini tractor, which has small dimensions and is able to perform a lot of everyday tasks in agriculture, can quite cope.
In this regard, in rural areas, small farms prefer this technique. Indeed, unlike large agricultural complexes, private traders cannot afford expensive agricultural machinery. That is why homemade mini tractor videos with a detailed description of which are on the Internet have become so popular and in demand. It is not so easy to assemble such equipment as it might seem at first glance, but it is still possible, and the costs will be much lower than the cost of factory-made agricultural equipment. Plus, a home-made small tractor can be equipped with various equipment that can significantly increase the range of work performed by this technique.
Do-it-yourself attachments for the T-25 tractor
For the T-25 tractor, there is a large selection of trailed attachments, so we will not only talk about homemade plows. If the user is not able to purchase factory units, then there are several ways to self-assemble. Detailed instructions for making all types of attachments with your own hands, as well as video tutorials, will help you assemble the device correctly and reliably.
homemade plow
The manufacture of attachments is carried out in several ways. If there are no special rollers for bending metal sheets at hand, then use simpler manufacturing methods. The plow must withstand heavy loads, so when assembling, alloy steel with a thickness of at least 3-5 mm is used, which is protected from corrosion.
An important detail of the unit is the plowshare, which must be made durable, adjustable and removable in order to be able to vary the depth and avoid structural damage.
The first case of assembly involves the manufacture of a blade from a metal pipe with a diameter of 55-60 cm. The thickness of the steel should be at least 0.4 cm. The template for cutting structural parts from steel is made according to the drawings from thick cardboard. Rolls for bending steel sheets will speed up the manufacturing process. The blanks are cut out of cardboard exactly to size and fed onto the rollers at an angle of 20°. After bending, the structural details are easily brought to the desired shape with a hammer on the anvil.
The second method is laborious and does not involve the use of rollers. The blank for the dump is heated in a forge for further processing. Here, it is preferable to use a ready-made blade from old equipment for the T-25. The cut templates are applied to the blade at an angle of 20°, preliminary marking is carried out with chalk on a surface cleaned with emery. Otherwise, the process repeats the first method, and a gas welding machine is used to cut parts.
Welding work is carried out when the plowshares are fastened with a blade and a metal sheet, under which a shield is placed. The blades of the plowshare must be at the right angle, as well as the top edge. Welding is also carried out to connect the details of the plow structure to each other. In order for the plow to hold the furrow, its design provides for a wheeled unit, the height and angle of which vary with a notched sleeve. The wheel diameter must be at least 20 cm. This process is discussed in more detail in the tutorial videos for making a homemade plow.
After assembly and a little adjustment, the plow should work properly if you have observed the correct angle of inclination of the shares relative to the location of the blade.
Do-it-yourself potato digger
Making a potato digger for the T-25 tractor is a less time-consuming process than assembling a plow, but it is carried out strictly according to the schemes. The mechanism of its operation is simple: the plowshare opens the soil, the elevator captures the tubers, passes them through the grate, clearing them of the ground and dumps the peeled fruits.
The frame of the unit is made of metal sheets, which are best connected not with fasteners, but by welding. The elevator casing is installed on the frame and fastened through the holes that need to be drilled. When fastening to the frame, it is important to use bolts that will allow you to change the angle of inclination of the elevator and the plowshare with which it will be fastened. The plowshare is made of thick alloy steel and is shaped like a bucket, the corners of which need to be rounded.
The digger drive is manufactured using gears, hubs and shafts. The mechanism is quite simple, at this stage it is important to follow the assembly algorithm described in the diagram. A more complex design is the cleaning drum, which consists of two chains that are strung on steel pins and fastened with metal sheets. This mechanism is driven by a shaft. The connection with the T-25 shaft is carried out using a design with a shaft, bearing and stud.
homemade kun
On the T-25 tractor, it is possible to install a front factory coil of no more than 200 kg with a low load capacity, since the tractor design cannot withstand heavy loads. There are few examples of assembling a homemade kun, as experienced users note a great risk when using homemade structures, especially with a lot of weight.
Preparatory stage
Most often, a cylindrical plow is made. Such a hitch for a mini tractor is used in the processing of various types of soil. The soil is crushed well, but it does not penetrate deep into the formation. Such units are recommended for use on unplowed land during primary processing.
Simple plows, unlike the share type, are easy to manufacture. With the help of a semi-screw design, it is possible to turn over the earth without loosening. The share plow is a durable and reliable hitch for a mini tractor that can be used all the time. The design cultivates the ground with cutting elements. The soil leans back to the sides with two blades. This plow manufacturing technology provides a high level of loosening and depth of soil processing.

The drawing of the plow is made taking into account the type of construction. The single-case model is presented in the form of a rectangular metal pipe. On the opposite side of the side of the product, a cutting element is attached, and on the other, a wheel and fasteners for a minitractor.
To process a large area, a two-case hitch for a minitractor is assembled. The product is made of several frames equipped with different tools. Each component of the structure performs certain tasks (harrowing, plowing).
If the drawing is completed, then the device is detailed. Then the details are cut. To do this, you need a steel sheet and scissors. The shape of the blade depends on the tools used and the availability of equipment. Sheet bending machines will achieve high precision.
Homemade hitch
To make a simple rear hitch, you will need 10 cm thick channels, connecting beams and coupling devices from any small tractor. Holes are cut in the channels, which will allow them to be attached to the tractor frame. After that, the crossbars are pulled together by coupling devices crosswise and hung on the connecting beam. It is necessary to cut holes at the opposite end of the channels. They will allow you to attach a trailer or hitch for attachments to the hitch.
Homemade plow for a mini tractor
Homemade plows are used when it is required to process harder soil. Creating this tool involves the following steps:
- We take a plate with a thickness of 3 to 5 millimeters.
- You need a pipe with five millimeter walls.
- The plate is sharpened with a knife. After that, it should look like a braid.
- The blade is machined with a grinder.
- The role of the part that performs the cutting is played by the working element at the braid. It is beaten out on anvils.
The next step involves gluing the parts together. The main thing is to comply with the requirements regarding the angle of the equipment. A plowshare is placed on a steel sheet. Elements are welded to each other pointwise, on both sides. A hitch with a mechanical lift will not hurt.

DIY cabin
For the manufacture of the cabin frame, the best material is a profile pipe, to which a glass seal is attached. The dimensions of the glass pattern are determined by the size of the cabin and the thickness of the seal. As a template, it is best to use chipboard sheets, which will allow you to most accurately select the desired size.
To fix the seals, thin steel strips are used, which are welded to the load-bearing posts of the cabin frame. The cabin structure is welded separately, in parts, and then assembled into a single structure. Corner beams must be made of durable material that is not subject to deformation during shaking. After the cabin body is welded, you can proceed to cutting the glass and the glazing itself. To install the stove, it is necessary to additionally insulate and seal the tractor cab.
How to make a dump?
You need to prepare drawings in advance. Separately fix the hitch on the mini-tractor. After collecting and preparing the necessary materials.
A piece of steel pipe with a diameter of 700 mm is suitable for creating a front blade or a rear-mounted variety. The wall thickness must be at least 8 mm. It is allowed to take an empty heating boiler for this purpose or a thick-walled old barrel.
The pipe is cut lengthwise, but not in half. You need to take about ¾ of the circumference. Get a shovel with the desired bend. The width of the device is determined by the power, dimensions of mini-tractors. According to the general requirement, it is not allowed to leave the tractor for equipment. The maximum protrusion is 400 mm, on each side. Then the dump from the pipe will be correct.
It will be necessary to strengthen the structure with longitudinal supports. They are created from longitudinal pipes having a cross section of approximately 40 by 40 mm. These products are welded just below the middle part of the blade. It will take 4-8 transverse stops, then the product will become stronger. Even under heavy loads, it will maintain integrity. The lower part of the shovel is equipped with a rubber casing, because it is in contact with the ground along the entire longitudinal part. A snow plow is also installed on the snow blower.

DIY trailer
A single-axle cart design for the T-25 tractor is the most suitable option. The average weight of the standard design is 800 kg, which will allow it to carry loads up to 2 tons. The cart frame is made by welding spars with a thickness of at least 10 cm. A complete axle of a small tractor can be used as the axle and wheels for the cart.
To equip the trailer with the blade option, it is necessary to reinforce the frame with a beam in the middle. A socket is welded to the beam for installing a cylinder, which will be responsible for the dump of the body, and a reinforced support for mounting. The hydraulic cylinder most suitable for dumping carts of small dimensions is PTS-9. The maximum cylinder output is 85 centimeters, which will allow the platform of the body to become at an angle of 50°.
Cultivator
The manufacturing technology of this piece of equipment is reduced to the following steps:
- To connect several metal plates, holes are drilled in all.
- Fastening of plates with a section in the form of a rectangle, square. The location of the cutters is the side of the plates in the form of squares.
- After finishing work, special holes are made. The size is determined by the diameter of the working pipes. A steel pipe passes through the holes. Bolting or welding is used for the final fastening.
- Connection of the minitractor shaft and cultivator parts. To be precise, tubes with cutters are connected to the through holes of the shaft. After that, another fix.

When processing complex soils, it is important to pay attention to the strength of the structure. On clay soils, the load at the working part will be maximum.

Trailer for a mini tractor: types of how to do it yourself
Attached or trailed equipment to a minitractor expands its capabilities. The trailer is a necessary element with which you can transport cargo.
The cart for a minitractor is used in agriculture, in the municipal sphere, in construction. The equipment greatly facilitates work in the field or in production.
Types of trailers for mini tractors.
- Trolley for a minitractor. A simple design is attached to the tractor and is needed to transport goods. For loading or unloading you need to use your strength.
- Tipper trailer for transportation. Its design is built in such a way that it is possible to lift the loading part and unload bulk or other goods. The equipment makes it much easier to work on a large area.
Trailer equipment also differs in the number of axles.
- Uniaxial. It has one axle, mounting suspension, inertial brake. It is used for the transportation of bulk, semi-liquid, liquid cargo.
- biaxial. Under the bottom of the cart there are two axles, you can transport large and bulky goods.
Carts can be used on different tractors, choosing them according to the method and type of attachment. The Photon minitractor can be supplemented with both dump and ordinary carts, and the scope of its use is significantly expanding.
Self-manufacturing
Most of the additional equipment is attached at the rear (ploughs, harrows, planters), so the equipment is equipped with a rear linkage. Main structural elements:
- outer lever;
- rotary shaft bracket;
- top and bottom links;
- brace;
- eye;
- coupler;
- axis.
The equipment itself is attached to this basic structure.
The main types of equipment for a minitractor:
- plow - used for plowing the soil, i.e. turning over the earth layer;
- harrows - crush the clods of earth left after plowing, and facilitate planting;
- potato planter - facilitates the planting of root crops: potatoes, beets, Jerusalem artichoke, etc .;
- potato digger - accelerates the harvesting of root crops, moving them to the surface of the soil, from where they can be easily picked by hand;
- rakes - for crop care and row spacing;
- cultivator - for loosening the earth before planting and caring for plants in the process of growth;
- sprayer - designed for watering and applying liquid fertilizers (both organic and mineral).
Before starting work, it is necessary to prepare the necessary tools and materials and complete the drawings, making sure that the weight and dimensions of the hitch correspond to the capabilities of the mini tractor. You can find ready-made drawings on the Internet, or you can make it yourself.
Soil preparation equipment
A plow is a type of heavy equipment, the use of which often determines the choice between a walk-behind tractor and a tractor. Already at the stage of drawing up the drawings, it is important to pay special attention to the size and shape of the cutting elements (coulter, plowshare) - they determine the efficiency of work, the degree of deepening into the soil and the volume of the land turned over. A properly made plow during operation should not go to the side, dig into the ground or go outside.
How to make a homemade mini tractor trailer with your own hands?
First you need to choose the type of cart, its load capacity and size. Drawings are expedient, which greatly facilitates the implementation of construction work.
Production of a single-axle trailer
- A frame and a crossbar are being constructed. Pipe joints are connected by welding.
- Wheelbase assembly. For a single-axle cart, two wheels are needed, they are attached to the frame with the help of side spars and a steel rod.
- Body installation. Boards or metal plates must be fixed to the frame structure.
- Mounting the articulated mount for hitching to a tractor.
Creation of a biaxial system
A more complex design involves more installation work. A two-axle cart has two axles, which are made of durable metal pipes. You also need to use four wheels, which are installed in pairs.
The four-wheeled trailer makes it possible to transport bulky goods.
Creation of a dump trailer
Its design is similar to conventional carts, but has a special lifting mechanism.
It can be manual self-tipping or mechanical. Manual can be done by welding a handle to the front of the trailer and installing an L-shaped pin. The tractor driver will be able to lift the structure independently.
For mechanical, you will have to use a special lifting mechanism from other equipment, the dimensions of which are suitable for the trailer. For example, you can use an electric motor, a jack, a hydraulic system, a winch.
The final touch of creating a home-made design is painting and installing it on a mini tractor. You need to check how homemade works, and get to work.
The self-made design is designed to perform a variety of work in agriculture, at public utilities, and in industries.
Homemade dumps
Now many people prefer to live in their own homes, and, accordingly, the surrounding area occupies a large area. To work on a personal plot, motor cultivators, motor blocks and mini-tractors are purchased.
In winter, snow removal turns into a competition who will win whom. And owners who have motorized equipment prefer to remove snow with it. Attachments for walk-behind tractors are not cheap, so craftsmen prefer to make them on their own.
The motor-block of domestic production "Neva" is widespread. It has regular attachment points and rubber wheels that are adapted for driving on loose snow. Most homemade dumps were made under the Neva.
On the Internet you can find many descriptions and drawings of a shovel for a walk-behind tractor with your own hands. But before manufacturing, you should familiarize yourself with the characteristics of the dumps. Product composition:
- executive (working) body;
- turning mechanism;
- mounting bracket.
Turning angles:
- to the right by 30°;
- to the left by 30°;
- directly.
Blade from the cylinder
One of the available materials for the manufacture of a blade is a gas cylinder. Its height is slightly more than a meter, and the recommended shovel width is 1000 mm. Manufacturing works proceed in the following sequence:
- Release excess pressure from the cylinder, if any.
- Trim on both sides of the lid so that the width is equal to a meter.
- Cut the resulting pipe lengthwise into two halves
- Using a welding machine, connect these two halves so that the blade height is about 700 mm.
- The mounting bracket is made as follows. Cut out a scarf from thick metal. Drill a few holes in it to turn the shovel in different directions. Weld a piece of pipe to the scarf.
- Weld the resulting device to the shovel at the height of the bracket on the walk-behind tractor.
- Installation is done with a thick finger.
The width of the rubber sheet is 100−150 mm. Drill holes in the blade with an electric drill to secure the rubber. To securely fasten the canvas, a metal strip of 900x100x3 mm is needed. Drill holes in the strip and in the canvas, having previously marked out the blade. Fasten with screws.
Blade from sheet steel
Some craftsmen prefer to use new material rather than used items. So you can make a homemade dump shovel from a steel sheet 3 mm thick. To strengthen the structure, take strip steel with a thickness of at least 5 mm.
Cutting material is made according to the drawings. The canvas of the shovel itself has four parts: frontal, lower and two side. The welded structure needs to be reinforced. To do this, elements cut from the five are welded in the vertical direction.
Next, a swivel mechanism is made. It is an ear with a hole for the axis. The ear is welded to the corner, which is attached to the blade. The axis is fixed at one end of the pipe, and the other end is fixed on the walk-behind tractor. The required angle of rotation is fixed with a finger (dowel).
As you can see, for the work you will need:
- working material;
- grinder with discs;
- electric drill with drills;
- bolts with nuts;
- welding machine with electrodes;
- spanners;
- round or profile pipe.
If you have certain skills, the job is not difficult. And the resulting design can be used not only in winter, but also in summer. Level the site after construction work, level the place for a children's sandbox and much more. Which design to choose is up to you.

Pros and cons of homemade designs
Of the advantages of self-assembled equipment, the following positions can be noted:
- even a person with low qualifications can make attachments;
- any mounted unit made in artisanal conditions costs quite inexpensively;
- to create equipment and repair it, you will need a standard set of tools;
- it is possible to enhance certain features of the device;
- in terms of safety, attachments can be built to a very high standard.
Among the shortcomings, the following criteria stand out:
- setting up and maintaining home-made equipment is a painstaking, labor-intensive process that requires skill and proper qualifications from the owner;
- during the entire service life, it is required to monitor the operation of the unit with special attention.
Homemade mini tractors - video
Home-made models of mini tractors, photos and videos of which can be found on the pages of designers of conventional home-made equipment for the agricultural complex, have not only a completely decent exterior, but also excellent functionality. Creating one of the models of agricultural machinery can be quite long and not easy, but a video describing in detail the phased construction of a mini tractor can help facilitate the design process. As a result, it is possible to create equipment that will help to process agricultural areas much faster and more efficiently.
Attachment manufacturing
Attachments are divided into the following types:
- to prepare the soil for planting crops;
- for harvesting and processing crops.
Before mounting equipment on a mini-tractor, drawing up drawings, sizing, you should understand:
- construction type;
- features of the operation of equipment (advantages and disadvantages);
- cash and energy costs.
We can single out the most popular attachments of farmers, which are assembled by hand:
- plow - designed to prepare the soil for sowing (usually it is connected to the rear suspensions);
- harrows - provide soil preparation;

Overview of prefabricated equipment
Mini tractors work in all industries, but most of all they are in demand in agriculture. This is taken into account by the manufacturer, so most attachment mechanisms are designed for soil cultivation, care of animals and plantations, as well as planting and harvesting. To connect most equipment, a three-point hitch is placed on a mini-tractor, but there is also a two-point version.
Equipment for soil preparation for planting
The plow is responsible for soil preparation. A mini-tractor works with attachments of various designs. Single- and double-furrow plows are used with machinery with a capacity of up to 30 hp. With. Their plowing depth is adjustable from 20 to 25 cm. If the unit is equipped with a motor of more than 35 liters. with., then you can pick up a four-furrow plow, for example, model 1L-420. The plowing depth is already increasing to 27 cm. Such models are called reversible or share-dump and are most often used by private traders for summer cottages.
There are also disc plows used for heavy soils and virgin lands. In farms, soil preparation can be carried out by rotary models.

Before planting, the soil must be prepared. Disk harrows are responsible for this front of work. Depending on the design, their weight is in the range of 200-650 kg, and the width of the soil is from 1 to 2.7 m. Different models differ in the number of discs, as well as the depth of harrowing. For example, 1BQX 1.1 or BT-4 cultivate land up to 15 cm deep.
Landing Equipment
This type of trailer mechanism includes potato planters. There are single and double row models with different tank sizes for planting tubers. The potato planter itself cuts a furrow, throws potatoes at an equal distance, and then rakes them with soil. All this is done while the mini-tractor is moving across the field. As an example, you can take the UB-2 and DtZ-2.1 models. Planters are suitable for domestic and Japanese equipment with a capacity of 24 hp or more. With. The equipment weighs within 180 kg.
Plant maintenance equipment
For tedding, as well as raking hay into windrows, a rake is hooked to a mini-tractor. Such equipment is more in demand by farmers and private traders, who have large areas for haymaking. Tedding rakes are produced in various modifications. To a mini-tractor with a power of 12 hp. fit model 9 GL or 3.1G. The equipment is characterized by a strip coverage of 1.4–3.1 m and a weight of 22 to 60 kg.
Cultivators clear the field of weeds, loosen the soil, remove the roots of unnecessary vegetation. The equipment is used after germination of plantings and during the entire period of their growth. Of the common models, KU-3-70 and KU-3.0 can be distinguished.
Mounted sprayers help to control pests of cultivated plantings in the fields and in the garden. Universal are the SW-300 and SW-800 models produced by the Polish manufacturer. The equipment is suitable for any models of mini-tractors. With a liquid solution flow rate of 120 l/min, up to 14 m of the treated area is covered with a jet.
Harvesting equipment
Potato diggers belong to this type of equipment. Conveyor and vibration models are mainly used. For a homemade mini-tractor, diggers are often made on their own. The easiest to manufacture is a fan design. There are also drum-type and horse-drawn diggers. From the factory-made models, DtZ-1 and WB-235 can be distinguished. Any potato diggers are connected to the rear hitch of the tractor.
Other types of prefabricated equipment
This category includes mechanisms rarely used in the agricultural industry. Most often they are in demand at a construction site, as well as utilities.
The blade is connected to the front hitch of the tractor. It is needed for leveling the soil, clearing the area of debris and snow. When cleaning roads, the blade is usually used in conjunction with a rotary brush attached to the rear linkage of a mini tractor.
A bucket is a kind of mounted excavator for a mini-tractor, which is designed to perform earthmoving work. It is convenient to dig trenches for laying communications or small pits with a small bucket. The mounted excavator has its own hydraulic valve. To connect to a mini-tractor, a three-point hitch is required.
Front loader or in other words KUHN is often used in warehouses and granaries. By the name it is already clear that the mechanism was created to perform loading operations. To prevent the light tractor from overturning under the weight of KUHN with a load, a counterweight is attached to the rear hitch.
The price of factory-made equipment is quite high. It all depends on the manufacturer, model and other factors. Let's say the cost of a plow varies from 2.4 to 36 thousand rubles. A harrow will cost from 16 to 60 thousand rubles, and potato planters from 15 to 32 thousand rubles. Such high cost encourages enterprising private traders to make the necessary devices with their own hands. The easiest way is to make a homemade hitch, which we'll talk about now.
Sprayer and manure spreader
The cost of such products will depend on how the owners approach the manufacture. To assemble with your own hands from improvised materials you will need:
- A pump with a voltage of 12 V.
- Pipes.
- Metal profiles of square section.
- Tank, plastic or stainless steel. The minimum required capacity is 200 liters.
Pipes with atomizers are attached to the structure after completion of welding work involving the frame. The sprayer is connected to the hitch of the minitractor. It is better to make a bar with a movable sprayer. To do this, the automotive structure is connected to a jack, it will work from the hydraulic system.

Manure spreaders are equipped with wheels. Their tread must be strong enough to avoid slipping. The belt conveyor is responsible for the supply of fertilizers, the drive from the trailer wheels sets this part in motion. Adjustment and shutdown are often done manually.
Why do you need homemade attachments
Despite the fact that factory attachments are more reliable and efficient, tractor owners also create their own models of replacement equipment for agricultural machinery. The reason for this phenomenon is not always rooted in a lack of financial resources. Custom-made mechanisms for the MTZ tractor are rarely cheaper than factory counterparts, since the purchase of materials by the manufacturer is carried out at wholesale prices, and the costs of serial production, as a rule, are lower than in handicraft production. The motivation for creating non-standard weights is most often the need to adapt existing equipment to the conditions of an individual farm or a specific type of work. Even taking into account the fact that the MTZ tractor can use attachments from other manufacturers from the CIS countries, manufactured according to common standards, home-made devices can significantly increase the productivity of basic operations, improve the quality of processing, and reduce specific fuel consumption per unit of work performed. Achieving a positive result is possible only if you have good knowledge in geometry, perform competent calculations, and have professional knowledge of metal welding technology. But even the possession of all these skills will hardly allow one to design and manufacture fairly complex structures with elements of hydraulics and electromechanics. As a rule, home-made attachments are limited to the refinement of factory designs.
