1.1. The operator of the aerial platform must be able to: - correctly install the aerial platform for work and manage it during operation; - perform maintenance and minor repairs of aerial platform; - provide first aid in case of an accident, use a first aid kit. 1.6. Before starting independent work, an aerial platform operator must undergo an internship under the guidance of an experienced operator in order to acquire practical skills in operating an aerial platform. A driver who has shown unsatisfactory skills in driving aerial platform is not allowed to work independently. 1.7. An aerial platform operator sent to participate in work unusual for his profession must undergo targeted training on the safe performance of the upcoming work. 1.8. The aerial platform operator is prohibited from using tools, fixtures and equipment, the safe handling of which he has not been trained. 1.9. During operation, the operator of aerial platforms can be adversely affected, mainly by the following dangerous and harmful production factors: - falling objects from the height to which the cradle is raised; - loss of stability of the aerial platform with a raised cradle (for example, due to the high location of the center of gravity); - high neuro-emotional stress when operating aerial platform; — moving machines and mechanisms; - moving vehicles; - a dangerous level of voltage in the electrical circuit, the closure of which can occur through the human body; - increased noise and vibration in the workplace; — unfavorable weather and microclimatic conditions in the aerial platform cabin; - insufficient illumination of the roadway; - sharp edges, burrs, roughness on the surfaces of parts, aerial platform units, tools. 1.10. The aerial platform driver is provided with overalls and safety shoes in accordance with applicable standards. 1.11. The driver should be aware that the aerial platform is an increased danger and special attention should be paid to the fact that work cradles use devices that protect them from falling from a height. 1.12. In case of illness, poor health, the aerial platform driver is obliged to report his condition to his immediate supervisor and seek medical help. 1.13. To prevent the possibility of a fire, the aerial platform operator must comply with the fire safety requirements himself and prevent violations of these requirements by other employees. 1.14. The aerial platform driver must comply with the working hours and rest periods established for him. 1.15. The aerial platform operator must observe the rules of personal hygiene: before eating and after finishing work, wash hands with warm water and soap. Eating, smoking, resting is allowed only in specially designated areas and places. Drink water only from specially designed installations (coolers). 1.16. It is not allowed to perform work while in a state of alcoholic intoxication or in a state caused by the consumption of narcotic drugs, psychotropic, toxic or other intoxicating substances, as well as to drink alcoholic beverages, use narcotic drugs, psychotropic, toxic or other intoxicating substances at the workplace or at work. time. 1.17. An aerial platform driver who has committed a violation or non-compliance with the requirements of this labor protection instruction is considered as a violator of production discipline and may be subject to disciplinary liability, and, depending on the consequences, to criminal liability; if the violation is associated with causing material damage, then the perpetrator may be held liable in accordance with the established procedure.

Responsibility for the lack of driver's license

Working on an aerial platform without an appropriate certificate entails administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 9.1. Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for violation of industrial safety requirements. An employee will pay a fine of 2,000-3,000 rubles, officials 20,000-30,000 rubles, and a legal entity from 200,000-300,000 rubles. An aerial platform operator can install an aerial platform and work with workers who are in a cradle at a distance of less than 30 m from the outermost wire of a power line only if they have a work permit. 3.15. When the aerial platform is in operation, the distance between the turning part in any of its positions and the dimensions of buildings or stacks of goods or other objects must be at least 1 m. 3.16. When lifting workers in a cradle or loads, it is forbidden for an aerial platform operator to: - allow workers who do not have a permit to work at height and who have not been instructed to work in the cradle, as well as use load gripping devices without tags or brands; - make sudden movements of the cradle if there are workers or cargo in it; - transfer control of the aerial platform to persons who do not have the right to control the aerial platform. 3.17. During maintenance and repair of the aerial platform, only tools that are in good working order and intended for this purpose should be used. 3.18. Wrenches should be selected according to the size of nuts and bolts; you should not work with wrenches with non-parallel, worn jaws, it is not allowed to unscrew nuts with large wrenches with metal plates between the faces of the nut and the key, as well as lengthening the wrench handle by attaching another key or pipe. 3.19. The surface of all tool handles must be smooth, free of burrs and cracks; do not use a tool with a poorly reinforced wooden handle, or with a defective handle or without a metal ring on it. 3.20. To prevent unauthorized persons from using the aerial platform for other purposes, the driver must not leave it with the cab open without supervision, even for a short time.
