Engine
T-30 is equipped with a 2-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled diesel engine D-120. The engine is produced by the Vladimir Tractor Plant. It is possible to use several modifications of the motor, which differ in the number of plungers in the fuel pump, the installation of the pneumatic system compressor and the presence of oil drainage from the crankcase for cabin heating. A design feature of a diesel engine is the placement of the combustion chamber in the piston. This ensures improved mixture formation and complete combustion of the fuel.
The engine is equipped with removable cylinders of interchangeable design. The cylinders are cast iron, with cooling fins on the outside. The inner surface of the cylinder forms a mirror. If the cylinders are worn or damaged, they cannot be repaired. Cylinder heads are individual, equipped with inlet and outlet valves, fuel injection nozzle and decompressor valve.
The camshaft is located in the engine crankcase. The shaft is driven by a block of gears located in the front. The gears are covered. The block contains guide bushings through which the pushers pass. When the camshaft rotates, the cams move the pushers up. The pushers are connected to the rocker arms mounted on the head. The rocker opens the valve by acting on the end of the rod. The closing of the valves and the return of the pushers to the lower position is carried out due to the force of the compressed springs installed in the valve mechanism.
Cooling is performed by the airflow generated by an axial fan. Belt drive from a pulley on the crankshaft of the engine. Air is supplied to the cavity of the casing mounted on the side of the cylinders. The air flow is directed by deflectors and flows around the fins. Under the casing is a radiator of the engine lubrication system. The intensity of the air flow is regulated by turning the disc valve located at the inlet of the air intake.
Transmission
The transmission consists of a clutch mechanism and a gearbox. On machines, a clutch with a dry principle of operation is used. The clutch is equipped with 1 disc and is in a permanently closed state. When an additional shaft is installed on the tractor to drive attachments (PTO), a separate disk is added to the clutch to transmit torque to the shaft.
A manual gearbox and a doubler in the rear axle reducer provide 6 normal forward speeds. The reverse gear allows these gears to be used for reverse as well. When working in off-road conditions, 2 additional gears are used, allowing you to move in slow motion. Slow speeds apply only to forward movement.
On machines of the T-30 family, 2 types of PTO are used - dependent and independent. Both options provide 1 operating speed - 540 rpm. Drive shafts differ in diameter and number of splines, there are 2 configuration options.
Front and rear axle
The front axle is a beam mounted on a balancer. Modification T-30A-80 is equipped with a front drive axle with an automatic connection system when wheels slip on the rear axle. The drive is carried out by a cardan shaft from a gearbox located on the gearbox.
The rear axle gearbox is equipped with a differential with the possibility of mechanical pedal locking. The axle shafts are located in the side sleeves, on which the reduction gears of the final drive are fixed. Rear axle gearboxes allow you to change the clearance of the machine.
Modifications
- T-30-70 is a device that is characterized by hydrostatic steering and a double-disk clutch, which differ from previous copies. The model is designed for the same purposes as the T-30. Can be used for tillage before sowing.
- T-30-69 - a device that has a single-plate clutch and mechanical steering. It has a fairly high load capacity - up to 1600 kg. The driving axle is rear, and the front axle is controlled. In addition to inter-row cultivation, the model can be used for pre-sowing tillage.
This model is out of production, so it can only be purchased in a used condition.
- T-45 is the device, which is the most powerful modification of the T-30, thanks to the D-130 engine. It has a sufficiently high load capacity and can be used for various purposes in horticulture, farming, lifting purposes and land cultivation.
- T-30A-80 - designed for use in conditions of increased complexity. It has a maximum load capacity, in comparison with other modifications, up to 2100 kg. Confidently moves off-road thanks to the wheel formula 4 * 4. Can handle all types of soil cultivation with ease. Designed for lifting purposes, as well as for work in vineyards, orchards, farms.
This model "lit up" in the film "Kin-Dza-Dza", where it served as a snowplow.
Running system
Tractors use wheels with different diameters on the front and rear axles. The machines are equipped with a track adjustment system on the front and rear axles. The front axle has 3 steps of adjustment every 100 mm. The track of the axle equipped with the drive is 100 mm larger than the track of the standard unit.
The rear wheels allow you to adjust the track in 4 steps.
Disc brakes are mounted on the rear axle. Separate control is carried out by 2 pedals from the operator's cab. The parking brake uses working mechanisms. Model 30-69 machines use a mechanical steering gear. Versions 30-70 and 30A-80 received hydrostatic control with a power cylinder mounted on the front axle.
Major modifications
All models based on the T-30 are equipped with the same power plant and gearbox. Some components and assemblies were subjected to changes.
The VTZ plant produced several variants of the machine:
- Tractor T-30-69, which is distinguished by the installation of a dependent PTO and an additional drive disc in the clutch. The machine was positioned as an agricultural one, to perform auxiliary work.
- The T-30-70 model is equipped with a reinforced clutch with 2 discs and an additional clutch for driving an independent PTO. The machine was created to work on vineyards and transport goods.
- A variant of the T-30A-80 tractor, which is equipped with a transfer gearbox and a leading front axle. Hydraulics with increased productivity.
- Model T-45 with a 3-cylinder diesel engine D-130 with a power of 45 hp. It was produced for a short time, thanks to the powerful motor it had improved performance.
- The communal version of the T-30KO was completed from the factory with street cleaning equipment. The modifications listed above served as the base.
Purpose of the tractor T-30
The T-30 tractor belongs to the 0.6 traction class, it is equipped with a semi-frame and a rear-wheel drive. The front wheels are swivel. The main purpose of the T-30 is the cultivation of crops, the care of any type of soil, including virgin soils, it can be used to work in summer cottages, garden plots, vineyards and farms. The transport function allows the unit to be used as an auxiliary equipment for the transportation of any cargo weighing up to 850 kg. (no extra weight).
Tractor T-30
Vladimirovets is equipped as standard with a roll cage, an awning, a protected cab, a large range of attachments, both from a manufacturer in Vladimir, and from Ukrainian, Polish, Chinese, Russian manufacturers producing attachments. On the basis of the T-30, several models of tractor machines were produced, which immediately became popular among farmers.
Currently, the T-30 can be bought both with low mileage, in good condition, and in a used one, that is, a model of an earlier production. How much a used tractor will cost depends on the general degree of wear, the condition of spare parts, the availability of attachments and other factors, however, on average, the cost of the T-30 in Russian rubles ranges from 150 to 425 thousand rubles, the cost in hryvnia - from 100 to 250 thousand hryvnia.
Advantages and disadvantages
The characteristics of the T-30 tractor provide a number of advantages:
- ground clearance, allowing you to work in the field;
- closed cabin with a large glass area;
- track and clearance adjustment;
- low fuel consumption;
- ease of repair and maintenance;
- the ability to work with various attachments.
Reviews of technology allow us to highlight a number of shortcomings of the machine:

Cons: • Weak hull armor; • Low coefficient of stealth; • Poor maneuverability; • Very long reload and small DPM; • Mediocre accuracy; • Short viewing range.
Price and owner reviews
The cost of used cars starts from 100 thousand rubles. For this price, tractors are offered in standard equipment without attachments. The remaining resource of the machines is small, most of them require a major overhaul of the engine and transmission. More recent copies cost from 200 thousand rubles. Additional equipment brings the cost to 400 thousand rubles and more.
The cost of the VTZ-2032 tractor with rear-wheel drive is 495 thousand rubles, with all-wheel drive - from 60 thousand rubles.
Artem, Tver region.
There are 3 machines of modification 30A-80 manufactured in the mid-2000s in operation. and 1 model - late 90s. On late production tractors, there are problems with the axle gearbox associated with broken shafts and gears. After replacement, the parts do not go for a long time. On an early machine, there are no such problems. The transfer case and driveshaft are mounted low, causing damage to the assembly. There is a high probability of blows to the crankcase when driving in a deep rut. The engine for all-wheel drive has little power, on the other hand, the chassis will not cope with more power.
Dmitry, Sochi.
Used tractor for forestry. Equipped with cab and glass protection. Protective screens for the front axle drive and oil pump are installed from the factory. The kit included a skidding blade on the front linkage and a forest plow. The blade was used for lifting purposes, the hydraulic power was enough to move large tree trunks. The passability of the car is at the level of GAZ-66 trucks with all-wheel drive. The cooling system is reliable, it is almost impossible to overheat the engine.
Tablet Teclast T30: doomed to success
In the world of android tablets for several years in a row, stagnation has definitely been felt. On the one hand, smartphones are propped up diagonally, on the other hand, increasingly lighter and thinner laptops. The manufacturers themselves are also in no hurry to invest in the development of powerful tablets, releasing at best models on extremely outdated and wasteful processors, like the Helio X20, and at worst it can even be some kind of MT6737. But tablets are needed and there is a demand for them. For example, according to statistics, sales of Apple tablets are only growing every year. And they are growing not because Apple is so cool, but because competitors look like a complete bottom against its background. But it is not all that bad. Teclast dared to release the T30 tablet on the new productive Mediatek P70 mid-range platform and in my opinion this tablet is simply doomed to success. Why? Everything is simple. At its modest cost, it offers: good performance, a long-lasting battery, decent stereo speakers, a solid screen, support for 4G SIM cards and the ability to attach a physical keyboard that actually turns it into a netbook.

Packaging and equipment
The tablet comes in a presentable white package.
Inside we find: a tablet, a cable, a charger, a needle for extracting the tray and documentation.
The branded cable with the Teclast logo looks quite original. Its braid is made of a latex-like polymer material with a “fabric-like” surface texture. The cable is soft, flexible, but very durable.
Charging speed and battery capacity
The charger of compact dimensions, according to the characteristics, gives out up to 2.5A at a voltage of 5V.
In fact, even more: 2.9A or 15W
But all this potential is not used and in fact most of the time the tablet is charged with a current of 1.75A, i.e. the maximum power is about 9W. At the same time, the power supply does not heat up and works silently.
In general, the battery capacity here is one of the important advantages over competitors, and the technical characteristics of the battery were even highlighted with a separate information sticker on the package.
The filled capacity was 8112 mAh or 41.6Wh at a voltage of 5V. But the duration of the process is a bit disappointing: from 0% to 100%, the tablet charges in 5 hours and 30 minutes, although the first 80% is filled in about 3 hours, and then the current gradually decreases.
Design, ergonomics and usability
In terms of the design of the front, there is nothing innovative, a typical tablet with a 10″ screen and large frames. The frames allow you to confidently hold the device in your hands, without accidentally touching the work area. The screen is covered with 2.5D glass with rounded edges and smoothly flows into the body. A protective film is glued on the surface and since the sensitivity of the sensor is normal, I decided not to remove it until I get a protective case. By the way, the sensor recognizes up to 10 simultaneous touches.
In the center, they placed a front camera for video communication, a light sensor and an LED, which is currently used exclusively to indicate the charging process.
The body of the T30 is metal, with the exception of the antenna insert in the upper part. The elements fit well with each other, there are no gaps. A slight crackle can be heard under bending and twisting stress, but in normal use everything is fine. I also note the weight of the tablet - 560 grams, which is felt in games if the tablet needs to be kept on weight for a long time. Squishy will be hard.
The main camera was placed in the corner, under it is a small LED for illumination in low light conditions.
The volume buttons are placed on the right side, this is if you use the tablet in landscape orientation. There is also a type C for recharging and an audio output for headphones. The sound in the headphones is cool and allows you not only to watch a movie, but also to enjoy your favorite music.
Since the tablet supports 4G networks, there is a tray for sim cards. Here it is combined and you can use either 2 SIM cards at the same time, or a SIM card and a memory card. For the Internet, one card is enough, which means that the second slot can be safely used for a memory card. Support for memory cards up to 128 GB is officially declared, but this is a formality. In reality, the tablet works fine even with a 256 GB memory card.
The speakers are located on the upper edge and there are physically 2 of them, so the tablet produces sound of good quality and volume with a distinct stereo effect. The volume is not prohibitive, but even 80% is enough to comfortably watch a movie or play a game.
In general, the diagonal of the tablet and its design implies that the main purpose of the device is to play multimedia content and it is maximally sharpened for these purposes: movies, YouTube, online TV - it is convenient and pleasant to watch on the big screen. For the same T30 was equipped with a capacious 8000 mAh battery, you can literally watch movies all day long. At the same time, the tablet does not feel too thick and is comfortable to hold in your hands.
And another killer feature is the presence of a special magnetic connector that allows you to connect a keyboard and actually turns the tablet into a compact netbook. This can be useful if you periodically need a "typewriter" to work with text or tables. In this case, the keyboard additionally acts as a cover and protects the screen.
The keyboard is an optional extra. It can be purchased separately, or immediately ordered with a tablet. The second option will be more profitable, so in order not to overpay later, you should immediately decide on its relevance for yourself.
I bought a tablet not for myself, but for a person who does not need a keyboard. Therefore, in addition, I ordered a cheap case ($8.79) and a protective glass ($4.99).
Screen
The tablet is equipped with a 10″ IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200, a pixel density of 224 pixels per inch, and a maximum brightness of 370 nits. The color temperature is neutral with a slight shift to cool tones, there is a reading mode that activates the blue light filter and reduces eye strain when reading in the evening. The maximum brightness is sufficient for a brightly lit room, typically 50% brightness is sufficient for use in a dimly lit home environment. The minimum brightness is comfortable for use in complete darkness.
The colors are natural, the picture is rich and pleasing to the eye.
Outdoors, the brightness needs to be turned up to the maximum, in the shade the screen remains fully readable, but outdoors the screen fades a lot and it becomes more difficult to make out something.
The uniformity of the white fill is excellent, with no spots or areas that differ in brightness. Black uniformity is not bad for an IPS screen, but backlight bleeding can be seen around the edges.
At an angle, the image is not distorted and remains contrasting and bright. Due to the peculiarities of IPS matrices, a glowing effect appears on black, which is especially pronounced horizontally and diagonally.
Software part
The Teclast T30 tablet runs on a pure Android 9 operating system without any modifications. A minimum of pre-installed applications and the complete absence of Chinese. The tablet is equally convenient to use in horizontal and vertical mode, but for large diagonals, landscape orientation is still preferable.
The application menu is called up with a swipe up, from the standard ones there were: a file manager, a voice recorder, an FM radio, a calendar, as well as a phone and messages that are somewhat unusual for a tablet.
Because it is possible to install a SIM card, that is, the ability to use voice communication. The tablet does not have a speaker, so when you make a call, the speakerphone will be automatically turned on. You can also use a wired or wireless headset. By the way, in the standard "dialer" there is a recording of conversations.
In the settings, everything is familiar and clear, the tablet supports wireless updates. The system works perfectly, not a single error or flaw was found during the use.
Hardware and tests
The tablet is based on a mid-range chipset from Mediatek - Helio P70. This is an excellent platform that has replaced the popular Helio P60. In fact, the P70 increased the maximum clock speed of the processor and graphics accelerator, which allowed a slight increase in performance. 8 cores are divided into 2 clusters: 4 Cortex A53 cores at 2 Ghz and 4 Cortex A73 cores at 2.1 Ghz. The processor is built on a modern 12 nm process technology, which has a positive effect on heat dissipation and consumption. The processor does not heat up and consumes battery economically. As a graphics accelerator, a 3-core Mali G72 MP3 was used, which operates at a frequency of 900 Mhz.
This bundle scores 172,000 points in Antutu, the result is excellent for a multimedia device.
Geekbench 5: single core mode - 317 points, multi-core mode - 1428; in graphics-oriented 3D Mark: using the OpenGL ES 3.1 API - 1277 points, using the Vulkan API - 1246 points.
The storage uses a 64 GB eMMC5.1 flash drive. The test showed an average write speed of 40 MB / s, a read speed of 126 MB / s.
The 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM works in dual-channel mode and shows a copy speed of more than 6200 MB / s.
Since we have a full-fledged communication module here, that is, navigation. This can be used in a car, now tablets are often built in as multimedia systems. Navigation works very well, in just a couple of seconds 31 satellites were found, with 19 of which there was an active connection. Positioning accuracy 1 meter.
I turned on the geotracker, threw the tablet into my backpack and went on business. The track corresponds to the real movement, the connection did not lose even when I entered the premises. There is no magnetic compass.
Further communication and the Internet. First of all, I checked the supported frequencies through the engineering menu, there are band 3/7/20 and the rest, which are used in our countries.
The sensitivity of the antennas is excellent, in the LTE apartment the network shows -95 dBm. The download speed on the Vodafone operator reaches 60 Mbps, the download speed is 22 Mbps.
In the nPerf test, when using mobile Internet, I received more than 95,000 points.
At home, when using WiFi, I run into the possibilities of my tariff plan, receiving up to 95 Mbps. By excluding the operator from the chain and organizing a network inside the apartment, I was able to find out the maximum possible speed using Magic iPerf. When connected in standard ac, I got 248 Mbps on average.
Multimedia features
For many, a tablet is such a Tv box with a screen, so the requirements for it are appropriate: omnivorous formats, hardware support for modern codecs, playing movies from a drive, online, torrents and watching IPTV. In Aida 64, we see that all modern codecs are supported, such as H264, HEVC, VP8 and VP9.
Unlimited tariff plans are no longer a novelty, so on the tablet you can watch not only movies downloaded to the internal memory, but WiFi is now available in any hotel. I installed the usual HD Videobox and Kinotrend, which have an adapted interface for tablets.
Playing movies from online cinemas or directly from torrents using the torrserve application is no problem.
IPTV in HD quality works well, channel switching is almost instantaneous.
Youtube in 1080p\60 fps - perfect, no friezes and frame drops
Gaming features
In addition to the multimedia component, tablets are usually very actively used for games. Playing on a big screen is much more pleasant than on a smartphone. Personally, I am a fan of strategy and card games like Hearthstone or [email protected] Chess Royale. Smartphones are not suitable for such games, because the elements are very small, but everything is perfect on a tablet.
Both games are quite demanding on hardware and frankly lag on budget processors.
Chess Royal showed an average fps of 27, and drawdowns on the chart are due to loading information from the server.
Hearthstone produces a stable 30 frames per second.
Of course, it is interesting to play on the tablet not only in strategies, 3D shooters also come in perfectly. I recently stumbled upon a port of Doom 2 and couldn't resist... Really stuck for a few hours and went through a good half of the game.
For a tablet, the game is very simple and 54 FPS confirms this.
Well, let's do something more modern. PUBG set the graphics quality to medium, but I raised the settings to high and got a stable 30 fps.
In Tacticool, I set the graphics settings to high and got 53 fps on average (drawdowns are loading levels).
Well, the most demanding game turned out to be Evil Lands, which in terms of graphics and the meaning of the game reminded me of the legendary witcher.
The game is really spectacular and graphically complex, so the tablet was heavy and the average fps was 27. This is with ultra graphics settings. But the most interesting thing is that even when the settings are reduced to medium, the result does not change. From here I conclude that the game is not optimized for Mali graphics. But in general, you can play.
In general, the tablet is doing well with games and at medium settings it pulls even the most demanding ones, and those that are simpler go to high ones. I also checked the tanks, because they say that with Mali they also do not have very good optimization. But no, the tanks went high with fps from 40 to 60 depending on the location and the situation on the map.
I checked the gaming performance using the Gamebench gaming benchmark.
Camera
As with most tablets, the camera is set for show. It can be used for video conversations or for technical purposes, but it is certainly not suitable for artistic shooting. The problems are standard: lack of sharpness at the edges of the picture, "soap" in the details, wrong white balance. In general, as usual: the camera seems to be there, but it seems not.
autonomy
Perhaps the strongest side of the tablet. Firstly, it has a very low self-discharge, i.e. it does not need to be completely turned off each time and then turned on again when used. It takes 2 - 3 percent per day, and if you use the tablet often, then of course it's more pleasant when it is always ready to work. The second point is very economical consumption for everyday tasks, for example, at maximum screen brightness, you can watch 10 hours 22 minutes of Youtube video in 1080p quality or 11 hours 14 minutes of video from internal memory.
In reality, of course, few people watch videos at maximum brightness, so the operating time will be much longer. For example, if you reduce the brightness to 50%, then the playback time increases to 20 hours 7 minutes. Almost a day you can watch movies on a single charge! In mixed mode with higher loads, the tablet works for about 11 hours, as indicated by the Work 2.0 test in PC Mark. The fastest way, of course, is to drain the battery of the game, but even here you can count on 5 - 6 hours of play, which, with such a screen diagonal, seems like a miracle.
Results
The tablet, of course, cannot be called perfect, but it is really very good. I would say that this is the best solution in terms of price-performance ratio. What you should pay attention to? Weight and slow charging: It is heavy and takes a long time to charge (the downside of high autonomy). What did you like the most? Operating time from a single charge, smart in operation, good sound, you can connect a keyboard. In the bottom line, we have an excellent multimedia tablet for video, games and the Internet, with a nuclear reactor instead of a battery. In its price category, it is simply the king of the hill. Analogues either have an ancient processor, or a smaller battery, or a higher price, or all at once. Therefore, I am convinced that Teclast T30 is doomed to success. I remind you that you can buy Teclast T30 both without a keyboard and immediately complete with a keyboard.
