Choosing a brand of gasoline for trimmers

It is necessary to select the brand of gasoline for mowers, taking into account the recommendations of the manufacturer. If you do not follow them, then the motor will soon break down. Often, unleaded fuel with an octane rating of 92 or 95 is used to fill the gas tank of the trimmer.

Gasoline for fuel mixture

Refueling the trimmer with AI-80 gasoline can lead to damage to the device due to its low technical characteristics. Please note that fuel after purchase can be stored for no more than 60 days, but it is better to reduce this period.

Polyethylene canisters are not used for storage, because static electricity will occur when in contact with the inner walls. An accidental spark will cause an explosion. Although, there are special plastic canisters marked "flame".

Fuel mixture for two-stroke engines

Trimmers that are equipped with a two-stroke motor do not have a separate system designed to supply oil to lubricate rubbing parts. For this reason, such devices should not be filled with pure gasoline, but with a mixture of fuel and engine oil. The latter should be specifically designed for two-stroke engines. The use of automotive motor fluid will cause premature engine failure.

Preparation of the fuel mixture for twin engines

You need to refuel a lawn mower with a two-stroke engine with AI-92 gasoline. When using AI-95, engine overheating and uneven operation of the unit may be observed. You need to mix gasoline with oil in a ratio of 50: 1, where 50 is fuel and 1 is oil. It turns out that 1 liter of fuel will need 20 ml of oil.

If the motor is worn out or the tool is working with a high load, then the ratio is 25:1. If there is little lubrication, then scuffing will appear on the walls of the cylinder and the surface of the piston. Then the piston ring will be destroyed, causing the engine to seize. An excess is not so critical, but it can lead to the formation of soot. In this case, the piston ring will coke, which will reduce the power of the device.

The proportions of oil and gasoline for the fuel mixture

The amount of oil per liter of fuel

Two types of engines are installed on gasoline lawn mowers - four-stroke and two-stroke. There are significant differences between them. The first option has a separate supply of oil and gasoline, in other words, there is no need to prepare a special fuel mixture. And the second type of motors requires constant lubrication of engine parts by mixing fuel and oil in a certain proportion.

If you got a grass mowing tool with a two-stroke engine cycle, then you will have to deal with the manufacture of a fuel composition to refuel the mower.

The fuel mixture consists of gasoline and a special oil for two-stroke engines. When choosing oil, it is better to use a lubricant from the same manufacturer as the lawn mower, but this issue is not fundamental.

You can distinguish oil for two-stroke engines from others by marking on the label. It also indicates the ratio in which the lubricant should be diluted with fuel. When using not bad and high quality oils, the dose is usually: 1 part of oil to 50 parts of fuel, in other words 2% of the total fuel volume. Some owners are confused in these proportions. In fact, everything is simple.

If the label says 50:1, it means that 5 liters. gasoline, you need to pour 100 grams of oil. In other words, for 1 liter of gasoline, you need to add 20 grams of oil to lubricate the engines.

How to fill the trimmer

The finished mixture of gasoline and oil can be stored for no more than 3 months (pure gasoline is stored less). Dilute the fuel in an amount that is enough for several uses of the trimmer. In general, prepare:

  • gasoline and oil that is suitable for two-stroke engines with an air cooling system;
  • metal canister and mixing container;
  • respirator;
  • gloves.

Adding oil to gasoline

Dilution instructions:

  1. Pour 1 liter of gasoline into a container of a suitable volume and add 1/2 of the required amount of oil.
  2. Stir carefully, being at a decent distance from open flames.
  3. Add the remaining half of the oil to the fuel and mix everything again.

The process of refueling the trimmer

General recommendations for refueling a trimmer with a two- or four-stroke engine:

  • Position the fuel tank so that the lid is on top, then fill with the required amount of fuel.
  • Do not overfill the fuel tank. This will lead to one of the problems: overflow into the intake pipe and fuel filter, ignition of the fuel or engine failure.
  • Try to pour the mixture so that it does not spill. To do this, you can use a watering can.
  • If you do spill fuel, wipe it up immediately. Dispose of cleaning material, do not accumulate indoors - it is a fire hazard.
  • Starting the device should be started after the fuel canister is removed to a distance of more than 10 m.
  • If there was a long break between mower operations, be sure to drain the remaining old fuel.

Why is gasoline mixed with chainsaw oil?

It is necessary to dilute gasoline with oil in order to avoid failure of the internal combustion engine. The reason for this is the design features of the lubrication system of two-stroke motors. The design of such engines does not have a chamber for filling engine oil, and if fuel is poured without lubricant, then the crankshaft, piston, bearings and connecting rods will not receive lubrication. This will significantly reduce the service life of all listed parts, so it is forbidden to fill in clean fuel.

READ How to Thin Your Chainsaw Oil Properly

Gasoline and chainsaw oil must be poured in the appropriate proportions, which makes it possible to effectively lubricate rubbing parts. Lack of lubrication or its excess will lead to negative consequences in the form of carbon deposits. In order for the tool to work properly, it is necessary from the first day of operation of the tool to fill it not only with high-quality materials, but also to observe the correct proportions.

In order for the engine to work properly, the main thing is to fill it with clean fuel without pollution.

Lawn mowers are a fairly common technique for combating weeds in summer cottages, in household plots, roads, and housing and communal services. These devices have two more names - trimmer and lawn mower. These units differ in their engines. The more expensive ones have four-stroke engines, all the rest are two-stroke ones. Of course, the latter are the most popular among the population, since they are both simpler in design and lighter in weight, and much cheaper than their four-stroke competitors. However, two-stroke models are inconvenient in that the fuel mixture for them must be prepared manually, maintaining a strict dosage between gasoline and oil. In four-stroke analogues, the mixing of these components occurs automatically, you only need to fill the gas tank and oil tank with the appropriate substances. Let's consider the question of the correctness of refueling exactly two-stroke lawn mowers, since it depends on how efficient and long the operation of such a unit will be.

Correct Proportion

I will tell my opinion on this matter, based on my own experience and information from the official documentation for specific models of gas equipment.

Husqvarna gives more specific information about the preparation of the fuel mixture. The instructions for the Husqvarna 137 chainsaw say the following.

I believe that Husqvarna is making the right recommendations and I mix my mower at a ratio of 1:33, i.e. for 1 liter of gasoline 30 grams of third-party oil.

For Stihl and Husqvarna chainsaws that come to me for repairs, I make a ratio of 1:40, because. their pistons are made of high-quality metal and are able to withstand higher temperatures than Chinese piston tools.

For Chinese chainsaws, as in the case of a lawn mower, I prepare the mixture in a ratio of 1: 33.

Standard Proportions

Often there are problems with the proportions of oil and fuel for reliable operation of lawn mowers. The reason for everything is completely different information in the sources. You can encounter a difference in the ratio data by a dozen units, and sometimes by half. Therefore, you involuntarily think about how much oil is needed per 1 liter of gasoline: 20 ml or all 40. But for this there is a technical passport for the product that you purchase in the store. There should be a description of the device, instructions for its operation and instructions on the rules for preparing the fuel mixture.

First of all, it is necessary to take into account the information that the manufacturer recommends, since in the event of a failure of the lawn mowers, you can present your claims to him, and not to a third-party source. If there is no instruction in the passport, and even more so if there is no passport, then we recommend looking for another trimmer model from a more reliable seller.

For all other cases, when you have a model of a brushcutter in your hands and there is no way to find out its technical features, there are standard proportions of the most likely components of the fuel mixture for a two-stroke engine. Basically, these units use AI-92 gasoline and special synthetic oil, which contains a solvent for better mixing with fuel. Such oil evaporates slowly and has the ability to completely burn out in the cylinder without leaving carbon deposits.

The standard ratio of synthetic oil to gasoline is 1: 50. This means that 100 ml of oil is needed for 5 liters of gasoline, and in accordance with this, the oil consumption per 1 liter of gasoline is 20 ml. Knowing the amount of oil required to dilute 1 liter of fuel, you can easily calculate any norms when preparing fuel for a trimmer. When using mineral oils, the ratio of 1: 40 is most often standard. Therefore, 25 ml of such oil will be required for 1 liter of fuel, and 125 ml for a 5-liter canister.

When a lawn mower is operating, it will not be difficult for a person who has little experience in operating such equipment to determine and correct the actual amount of oil needed for a particular model. You only need to pay attention to the exhaust gases (their color, odor toxicity), cycle stability, engine heating and developed power. More details about what consequences can be expected from the wrong proportions of mixing gasoline and oil are covered in another section of the article. There are options for lawn mowers that run on AI-95 gasoline. This should also be taken into account.

If the manufacturer recommends fuel with such an octane rating, then the requirements must be followed so as not to reduce the working life of the equipment.

The choice of oil and the preparation of the fuel mixture for lawn mowers

So, have you finally become the owner of a gasoline mower or lawn mower? And your imagination is already making images of how you bravely cope with thick grass. But the dream of a "perfect lawn" remains a dream when the question involuntarily arises: what kind of oil to use and what proportions of mixing it with gasoline?

Information about the correct manufacture of the fuel consistency on the Web can be found in almost all of the huge amount. This topic is intensively discussed on forums and other dedicated resources. But, despite such an active discussion, there are many inconsistencies that have to be dealt with.

In fact, it doesn’t matter what technique is used, it can be a lawn mower. brushcutter or chain saw. connects them together one - two-stroke internal combustion engine. Unlike the 4T, it does not have an oil sump. For its power, the manufacture of a special fuel mixture consisting of gasoline and oil is required. The resulting liquid is fed directly into the engine (carburetor). During operation, all intensively working parts are painstakingly lubricated, contributing to trouble-free operation under all operational criteria.

engine oil

for lawn mowers

Depending on the chemical composition, lubricants are divided into the following main groups:

Mineral. They are made on the basis of oils obtained from petroleum distillates. They are highly viscous and require frequent replacement. The material is intended for low power equipment with an air cooling system. Recommended for use in warm weather.

Semi-synthetic. They represent a kind of "golden mean". They are based on a mixture of mineral and synthetic oils. A similar lubricant can be used in 2T and 4T engines, gardening and other equipment with air and water cooling.

Synthetic. They are made on the basis of special synthetic components containing esters. They are characterized by low viscosity and long service life. Can be used annually, regardless of temperature criteria. Perfectly suited for complex equipment designed to work in heavy conditions with constant variable performance.

Any two-stroke oil, due to its 20% solvent composition, mixes well with fuel and has the feature of complete combustion. The 2nd corresponding feature is their color, which can be greenish, reddish or blue. Of course, this does not mean that some lubricant is better, but some is worse. This is done only to make it comfortable for the user to distinguish oil from clean gasoline.

Systematization of motor oils:

The required characteristics of oils for 2T engines are specified in the requirements of API TC JASO FC, API TC JASO FC ISO GD and API TC JASO FC E-GC. API systematization systems are the most widely used. Based on this, 2T motor oils are divided into 4 huge groups:

T.A. suitable for domestic appliances with an air cooling system and a motor capacity of less than 50 cm3.

TB - used for more massive equipment with an air cooling system and an engine capacity of 50.200 cm3.

TC. used in machinery with the highest demands on oil quality. This is a high quality lubricant for two-stroke engines with a volume of 50.200 cm3. Perfect for lawn mowers, brush cutters, trimmers, chain saws and other garden equipment.

T.D. for outboard motors with watery cooling.

More suitable material for 2T motors of API-TB and API-TC class. But you need to refer specifically to the product passport, where the manufacturer shows the brand of engine oil recommended for its own equipment.

Fundamentally! For mowers, lawn mowers and other 2T garden tools, a special engine oil

for two-stroke engines with an air-cooled system and marked "for garden equipment". It is forbidden to use lubricant for 2T engines with a watery cooling system. Oil for outboard engines, bikes and other equipment is also not recommended.

The ratio of oil and gasoline for lawn mowers: why is it so important to maintain accuracy?

We all loved to “cheat” in childhood, because the process of making a fuel mixture is not only simple, but also fascinating. First, it is worth considering the fact that the proportions of the consistency can be different. It depends on the configuration of the motor, the marking of the oil and the manufacturer's advice. The fact is that with a missing amount of lubricant, the cylinder and piston are heated, which leads to shallow scuffing of all rubbing surfaces and, as it should, to failure of the cylinder. piston group. Well, in the case of its excess, on the contrary, we get coking of the piston ring and the formation of a huge amount of soot.

And even without looking at the fact that there is an accepted consistency ratio of 2% (for every liter of gasoline, 20 ml of lubricant). The proportions in the consistency are still advised to withstand exactly.

How many

pour oil into gasoline for lawn mowers?

Everything is quite easy, with the right balance, the engine works in full, all parts are painstakingly lubricated and do not wear out. In the end, we get confidently working equipment that will last more than one season.

To know how much oil to add to a lawn mower, you need to familiarize yourself with the operational features of the product. Proportional ratios can be presented in the following form: 1:25, 1:40 and 1:50, which means 1 part of oil to 25, 40 or 50 parts of gasoline.

1 liter of gasoline = 1000 ml

To find the right amount of oil for a ratio of 1:25, you need 1000 / 25 and we get a ratio of 40 ml.

We perform the same actions to the ratio of 1:40 and 1:50:

1:40 (per 1 liter

gasoline 25 ml oil) 1:50 (per 1
liter gasoline 20 ml oil)

In order for the proportion of oil for the lawn mower to be observed correctly, it is recommended to use a special measuring container (not plastic). Eliminate the possibility of dirt and water getting into the fuel mixture. this may affect its quality. It is better to start making the consistency with gasoline. Pour it up to the desired mark, then add oil. For mixing, a couple of tilts of the container are enough. The liquid quickly combines and acquires a uniform color, which, depending on the structure of the oil, can be reddish, greenish, blue or other. After that, the correctly prepared mixture is poured into the fuel tank of the equipment.

Before starting the implementation of the technique, make sure that the tank lid is tightly closed. If you have more fuel left, then the remainder can be stored in a special canister or mixing container (less than 14 days). Unused fuel is recommended to be drained.

Fundamentally! Be sure to follow the safety regulations. Mix water in an open area so that caustic gasoline fumes do not accumulate in the room. Put on gloves and long sleeves. Do not smoke or burn anything.

Petrol

Petrol

with an octane number AI-92 is considered the most popular type of fuel for two-stroke engines. Due to its relatively low price, it is very rarely counterfeited. Therefore, not 100 percent, but you can be sure of its quality. It is also permissible to introduce AI-95 fuel.

As for the storage of fuel, its period should not exceed 3 months. Over time, gasoline loses its characteristics, the resin becomes higher and the polymerization process appears, which adversely affects the combustion chamber. The fuel mixture for lawn mowers, prepared from low-quality materials, settles in the form of soot, as a result of which the main components and systems of the motor are tormented.

Tips for use and storage

Fuel is ready, poured into the fuel tank, the first jerk and the long-awaited start. But if you want the equipment to work for a very long time, it is recommended to make its first run-in. To avoid overheating of the motor, it is advised to stick to the average load. After the main elements of the system are painstakingly lubricated, the load can be increased.

Certain rules should also be followed when preparing the braid for off-season storage:

Drain the remaining fuel from the fuel tank and make a finish run until the fuel runs out. After that, stop working and make sure that the engine is completely cool.

Carefully remove the spark plug and add about 5 ml of lubricant. Slowly pull the starter handle until the oil is evenly distributed inside the engine. After that, return the candle to its original state. Equipment must be stored in a cool, dry place.

Mixing Rules

And now about how to properly mix the components. However, it would be more logical to start with an analysis of common, but absolutely unacceptable mistakes that many owners of this mowing unit “sin” with. The following actions are considered fuel mixture mixing errors.

  • Adding oil to the fuel already filled in the gas tank of the lawn mower. In this way, a homogeneous fuel mixture cannot be obtained. Perhaps it will work out, if only then shake the trimmer for a long time. But it is unlikely that anyone will do this, given the severity of the unit.
  • First, pour the oil into the mixing container, and then add gasoline to it. Gasoline has a lower density than oil, so if it is poured into the oil, it will remain in the upper layer, that is, natural mixing will not occur. Of course, it will be possible to mix later, but much more energy will be required than if it were done the other way around - pour oil into poured gasoline.
  • Ignoring accurate measuring instruments to take the required volumes of the ingredients used. In other words, diluting the amount of oil or gasoline "by eye" is a bad habit when operating motorcycles.
  • Take empty bottles from drinking water to prepare the fuel mixture. Such containers are made of too thin polyethylene, which can dissolve with gasoline.

How much oil to add to gasoline if necessary (table)

Often, when it is recommended to manually add oil to gasoline in a certain proportion when operating a two-stroke scooter, scooter owners cannot always quickly determine the required amount of oil, which can be poured directly into the tank or mixed in a canister.

This material will help you quickly understand the proportions and add the required amount of oil to a certain amount of gasoline in a matter of seconds without additional calculations.

When to Add Oil to Gasoline

  • Most importantly, the scooter must be two-stroke. Mixing oil with gasoline for four-stroke engines is unacceptable!
  • During running-in in very hot weather to prevent piston wedging in the cylinder.
  • When the oil pump malfunctions, when it cannot be adjusted, and the operation of the scooter is urgently needed.
  • In the absence of an oil pump. Yes, this happens, especially when tuning. Scooters prefer to prepare a mixture of gasoline and oil on their own and pour the already prepared mixture into the gas tank, in which case, of course, the oil pump is no longer needed and there is a plug instead.
  • With insufficient performance of the oil pump after increasing the volume of the piston.
  • Other cases.

Consequences of violation of the ratio

The operating life of the engine of the motococos depends on how accurately you follow the proportions of the oil-gasoline mixture recommended by the manufacturer. The fact is that the fuel mixture enters the cylinders in the form of a gasoline-oil mist. And the task of the oil composition is to lubricate the moving and rubbing parts and surfaces of various parts located in the cylinder. If it suddenly turns out that there is not enough oil, and somewhere it will not be enough at all, the parts that are in contact dry will begin to damage each other. As a result, scuffs, scratches and chips are formed, which will necessarily lead to complete or partial engine failure (for example, it may jam).

In the opposite case, when too much oil enters the engine, it does not have time to burn out completely, settling on the cylinder walls and turning over time into solid particles - coke, slag, and the like. As you might guess, this also leads to engine failure. The most important thing is that it should not be allowed - even a single violation of the proportion towards a lack of oil. It is better to pour a little oil 10 times than not to add just 1 time. It often happens that this time is enough to break the engine.

What is the risk of using the wrong fuel mixture

Many users of gas tools are rather irresponsible in preparing the fuel mixture. For example, I met owners of saws who diluted gasoline with oil “by eye”. They just poured as much as they wanted, and then they came to me with a faulty instrument.

It is important to understand that more, like less, does not mean better. It is the golden mean that matters.

If you prepare a mixture with a deficiency of oil, then everything is clear. There will not be enough lubricant for the cylinder and bearings, which means friction and temperature will increase, scoring will form in the cylinder and the crankshaft bearings may jam.

What happens if you overflow? A large volume of oil, during combustion, forms a lot of residual combustion products that settle on the piston, in the exhaust port of the cylinder and the muffler, making it difficult for the movement of exhaust gases. As a result, a drop in power or a complete loss of performance.

How to choose for lawn mowers?

For two-stroke engines, lawn mowers use AI-92 or AI-95 gasoline. Most often - the first of these. There is information about this in the technical data sheet of the product. If, for some reason, it is not known exactly which gasoline the trimmer should work on, you can pick it up by testing both brands of gasoline in action. Global changes in the engine will not happen from this, and it is quite possible to determine which gasoline this or that model of the unit “loves” more, according to some factors. This will be shown by the developed power, and throttle response, and engine heating, as well as its stable operation at all speeds.

But with the proportions of oil to a certain volume of gasoline, it is much more difficult to determine. In this case, at least something you need to know about the manufacturer of the equipment. And already according to the standard proportions for this manufacturer, select the proportion for a particular model, taking into account the type of oil.

You can start the selection even by the country of production.

For example, for Chinese low-power trimmers, two ratios are mainly used - 1: 25 or 1: 32 . The first is for mineral oils, and the second is for synthetic oils. We have already talked about the choice of standard proportions for lawn mowers of European and American manufacturers in connection with the type of oil. According to the class of oils for household trimmers, you need to use TV oil according to the API classification. For more powerful - class TS.

For information on the ratio of gasoline and oil needed for a lawn mower, see the following video.

A trimmer, or lawn mower, is a tool that you cannot do without in the household. At the same time, its reliability, efficiency and long service life depend on many factors. For example, the quality of fuel. This means that you need to choose the right oil for the trimmer, observe the proportions when added to gasoline and the rules for refueling the device.

Which oil to choose

For efficient operation of the trimmer, it is necessary to select oil for two-stroke engines. This is due to the lack of an oil sump in such a device. Depending on the chemical composition of the oil, the following classification is distinguished:

  • mineral - based on petroleum distillate, suitable for low-power equipment and air-cooled, but requires frequent replacement and can only be used in good weather during the warm season;
  • semi-synthetic - suitable for garden equipment with air and liquid cooling;
  • synthetic - based on esters, do not require frequent replacement and can be used at any time of the year.

Oil for 2-stroke engines is characterized by good solubility and feature of complete combustion. For the trimmer, it is recommended to use a lubricant that is suitable for devices with an air-cooled system. Most often, the packaging indicates that the oil is intended for garden equipment and is labeled TA, TV or TC. And the last of them is the most preferable.

Often, lawn mower manufacturers produce the right oil, so you can make your choice easier if you select the appropriate brand of fluid.

What gasoline to fill

Gasoline for the trimmer should be chosen unleaded with a stroke number of 92 or 95. As practice shows, AI-80 gasoline can damage the device, which is a dubious economy.

The fuel must be fresh, that is, after purchase it can be stored for no more than 60 days.

Other factors also affect the quality of fuel, for example, the use of a special lubricant for lawn mowers and its dilution in a separate container. It is also recommended to use special canisters designed for storing gasoline.

How to dilute gasoline with trimmer oil

You need to dilute gasoline for the trimmer in the correct proportion. Insufficient oil can lead to poor lubrication of the lawn mowing elements, which contributes to rapid wear.

The correct ratio can be found in the instructions for the trimmer. Most often it is equal to 1:25, 1:40, 1:50. To obtain such proportions, 40 ml, 25 ml and 20 ml of oil, respectively, must be added to 1 liter of gasoline.

It is unacceptable to dilute gasoline with lubricating fluid directly in the fuel tank; moreover, the proportion of oil and gasoline must be strictly observed. If you ignore this rule, then the operation of the trimmer motor may be unstable, due to which it will quickly fail.

It is not recommended to use plastic bottles or canisters for this purpose. This is due to the fact that gasoline tends to dissolve plastic, which means that some of the plastic can get into the fuel tank, which can lead to a breakdown of the carburetor. Although there are special plastic canisters marked “flame”.

This will require:

  • petrol;
  • oil suitable for two-stroke engines with an air cooling system;
  • canister, preferably metal;
  • mixing container, also better metal;
  • gloves;
  • respirator.

Make a mixture of gasoline and oil as follows:

  1. Pour 1 liter of gasoline into a container, add half the required portion of oil. Mix thoroughly, do it very carefully away from sources of open flame.
  2. Add the rest of the oil to the trimmer gasoline and mix thoroughly again. Fuel can now be poured into the trimmer's fuel tank.

The mixture can be stored for no more than three months, so it is better to dilute gasoline in such an amount that it is enough for several uses.

For dilution, only high-quality oil can be used, while it is recommended to purchase it only in trusted stores, for example, in specialized hypermarkets.

Rules for the preparation of the fuel solution

Before starting work, carefully study the instructions. In no case should you do everything “by eye”. Each manufacturer adds its own components to fuels and lubricants, so it will be useful to familiarize yourself with its recommendations.

The basic rules for preparing fuel for lawn mowers with a two-stroke engine are as follows.

  • Strictly observe the proportions when preparing the fuel solution. If the concentration of the lubricant component is insufficient, then the piston with the cylinder will become very hot, the engine may fail under such conditions. Due to overheating, burrs appear on the walls of the cylinder, which will subsequently require serious investments in repairs.
  • Do not add too much oil to the mixture. A large amount of it will lead to the appearance of additional soot and an early decrease in engine life. Eliminating defects will also cost a lot, as well as saving oil.
  • Long-term - more than one month - storage of the fuel mixture is not recommended, as it begins to decompose and lose its basic properties. The prepared mixture can be stored for no more than 90 days, pure fuel is even less - about 30.
  • Carefully monitor the cleanliness of the combustible solution, protect it from the ingress of various debris and other contaminants, which can damage the engine.
  • After finishing work, if there is a long break, it is better to drain the fuel mixture from the tank.

Before preparing the fuel mixture, you should take care of its safety in the future. Gasoline is best stored in metal containers; fuel is allowed in plastic canisters specially designed for this. In no case should you store gasoline in plastic bottles: the fuel enters into a chemical reaction with polyethylene and the decomposition products, if they enter the carburetor, can disrupt its operation.
