Other innovations include a colloidal graphite piston skirt coating, removable ceramic-metal valve guides, a molybdenum coating on the lower piston ring, and an active-reactive exhaust muffler. The KamAZ-5320 power units use double-disk clutches. The hydraulic drive of the clutch control mechanism has a pneumatic booster that facilitates the use of the pedal. A feature of the transmission of the KamAZ tractor is the divider (multiplier) - an additional two-speed gearbox installed after the clutch in front of the main gearbox.
