Working power is provided by a six-cylinder diesel engine. Rated power is 250 horsepower, the manufacturer provides for the option of replacing it with a less powerful GASE 6CTA-830. The transmission is hydrostatic, as in most combines of this class.
The maximum coverage of the harvested area is 6 meters. The high speed is provided by a planetary gearbox with a grooved belt drive. Knives are made of durable steel, this ensures maximum cleanliness of the cut. The header auger rotates at 1210 rpm.
The reel is hydraulically driven. Rotation speed up to 45 rpm. Different crops are processed at different speeds, this parameter can be changed by the operator without leaving the cab.

Device and characteristics
The combine harvester is built on the basis of a steel frame, on which a power unit, transmission units, hydraulic steering and a driver's cab are installed. The machines use diesel engines manufactured by Case, MMZ or YaMZ. A hydraulic transmission is used to transfer torque from the engine to the drive wheels. The working pump is connected to the crankshaft of the diesel engine by a V-belt drive.
The machine is equipped with a drive axle equipped with an additional range box and wheel planetary gears. The technical characteristics of the Lida harvester depend on the modification of the transmission units used. A 3-speed Case box is installed on some of the machines, and the original 4-speed unit developed by Gomselmash is also found. Both versions of the boxes have an additional reverse gear, blockers are not provided for by the design.
The basic equipment of the operator's cabin includes air conditioning and a seat adjustable in several directions.
The steering is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder and a transverse bar that synchronizes the position of the wheels. The steering column is adjustable in length and installation angle.
At the front of the machine there is a header with a reel, which transfers the mass to be threshed to the auger mechanism. The side parts of the harvester are equipped with stalk dividers. The stems cut with a knife are guided by the auger to the middle part of the header, and from there the material is transferred to the threshing plant. The header drive is equipped with a quick stop mechanism used in case of emergency.
The threshed mass enters the separator, where additional threshing takes place. Then the loosened mixture enters the apparatus that separates the straw. After that, the mixture of grain and chaff passes through a sieve and is divided into fractions. Additional cleaning is carried out by an axial fan, then clean grain enters the bunker.
